How to Sign Up to Buy Through Google Checkout
Google Checkout is an online payment method you can use to purchase products online at websites offering Google Checkout as a payment method. You do not have to provide sensitive information to the individual shopping sites. Instead you set up one account through Google Checkout and all of your sensitive account information is stored there. Your email address is also kept confidential so you do not run the risk of getting on a mailing list.

Navigate to the Google Checkout sign-up page in Resources. Sign in to your Google account and click the "Sign-Up" button. Click "Sign-Up" if you do not have a Google account.

Choose your location from the drop-down menu. Enter your credit or debit card number and expiration date in the provided fields. Type the 3- or 4-digit number on the back of your card into the CVC field.

Enter the name on the card and the full billing address associated with the card. Type your phone number. Click "My billing address" or "A different address" to set your shipping address settings. Enter your shipping address in the provided fields if it is different from the billing address.

Click "Create My Account. Time to Shop!"

Log in to your email address and find the Google Checkout email sent to you. Click the email verification link in the email. Your Google Checkout account is now set up and verified so you can make purchases.
