How do I Install a Radio Code for a 2005 Honda Odyessy?
In order to operate the 2005 Honda Odyssey's factory stereo following a disconnection from the power source---in this case the battery---you will need to enter a correct four-digit anti-theft code. The feature makes it impossible for someone to operate a stolen stock head unit without access to the code. Retrieve the code from the owner's manual or obtain your Odyssey's code through Honda's owner-link site available through honda.com.

Press the tuning knob located on the right side of the stereo's face to choose the first field. The "C" in "code" will change to a "0." Turn the knob clockwise to scroll through numbers 1 to 9. Stop turning the knob once the value of the first digit in the security code appears in the field.

Repeat the process to re-enter the code if you have received an "err" message in the display. After three incorrect entries you will need to have the security code reset at an authorized Honda dealership service station.
