Instructions

Floating Candle Centerpiece

1. Place a medium-sized, round mirror in the middle of the table as a centerpiece base. Pick an elegant, hexagon- or square-shaped mirror instead of a traditional round version if you desire.

2. Fill the bottom of a large, glass pedestal bowl with shiny, gold glass gems. Pour cool water until the bowl is three-quarters of the way full.

3. Place three small and three large gold floating candles in the bowl. They will glide across the top of the water in the bowl and reflect off the mirror when lit. Accent the gold candles with blue, red, white, pink or green floating candles, depending on the party's color scheme.

4. Wrap a gold leaf and vine-inspired garland around the mirror for a decorative look. Place gold spray-painted seashells or a sophisticated iridescent pearl strand around the mirror, depending on the party's decor theme.
