Tips & Warnings
Credit card companies are required to notify applicants in writing when they deny an application for a new credit card.
It may still take a couple weeks to get a credit card in the mail after you notice the application has been approved online.
Do not expect the online status of a credit card to be accurate up to the minute. Credit card activity may not show up online for a few business days depending on the speed with which each merchant reports the expenditure.
