Write down the dimensions of your nursery including doors, closets and built-ins. Measure ceiling heights to determine what possibilities exist for ceiling decorations. Enter the depth and length of the nursery in the boxes provided. A new window will open with a large box representing your baby's nursery. The left toolbar includes all of the planning tools you will need for designing your nursery.

Create a name for your plan in the left toolbar. This will be helpful when saving the final nursery layout to your computer.

Use the drop-down boxes in the left toolbar to choose the categories of decor and furniture you would like to use in your nursery. Movable icons will appear at the bottom of the left toolbar. Drag and drop the furniture and accessory icons into the large box.
