How to Send an SMS Picture Message

SMS messages, or text messages, can include pictures taken with the phone’s camera, ones downloaded to the phone or ones forwarded from messages. Most cell phone services include the option of sending picture messages with text messaging plans.

Instructions

1. Open a new text message through the messaging menu on the phone's main screen.

2. Look for an "Insert" or "Options" menu on the text template. Look for an option to add a picture. Follow the prompts on the phone to select and add a photo.

3. Add the phone number or e-mail address of the person you are sending the message to. Press "Send."
