Instructions

    • 1

Clean the face that you're painting thoroughly before you begin. Choose where to place the butterfly and the colors you want to use.

    • 2

Sponge a light, thin layer of white sparkly paint over her face. Dip a small fan brush into the paint.

    • 3

Press down twice on each side to create wings on the top left side of her forehead. Outline the shape of the wings with black paint.

    • 4

Draw a thin line between the wings for the body. Paint a "V" shape on top of the body and dot with circles for the antennas.

    • 5

Decorate the wings by dipping the medium brush into sparkly pinks, blues or golds and dabbing small dots onto the wings.

    • 6

Paint a second butterfly on the hollow of the cheek with the large fan brush.

    • 7

Paint a third small butterfly on the bottom right side of the face below the corner of the mouth.

Tips & Warnings

  • Let your child pick the colors for the butterfly and decorating dots.

  • Vary colors between sparkle and regular paint.

  • Do not apply face paint if child has an open sore or cut on her face.

  • Use paints approved for the skin and not craft paints.
