How to Open the Sigg Bottle Top

Reusable Sigg bottles keep plastic bottles out of landfills.

Sigg reuseable bottles are an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable plastic bottles. These metal bottles come with one of three specialty leak-proof tops. The sports bottle top opens with a single hand, making it a good option if you need a drink on the go. The screw top resembles the closure of other water bottles. The active bottle top consists of a domed lid over the screw top for additional protection against leaks.

Instructions

Open the Sports Bottle Top

1. Flip open the domed cap covering the bottle top.

2. Twist the pointed top of the sports bottle so the word "Open" shows on the bottle top.

3. Push the top down to drink from the bottle.

4. Twist the top of the bottle top counterclockwise and lift. Pull the bottom half of the sports bottle top and the ring beneath to refill the bottle.

Open an Active Bottle Top or Screw Top

1. Flip open the domed lid on the active bottle top.

2. Twist the top left or right to open and drink so the ridge across the top of the cap is parallel to the hinge for the domed lid.

3. Unscrew the entire bottle top counterclockwise to drink from a screw top or to refill an active top.
