Instructions

    • 1

Brush your hair out smooth so that it hangs straight down your back, parted evenly down the center.

Separate two 1-inch sections of hair from the middle of the base of skull and pull them to either side.

    • 3

Braid one section of the separated hair into a three-strand braid and secure with a thin ponytail holder. Repeat this process with the other section of separated hair.

    • 4

Brush the hair atop your head smoothly back and pull the braids up to meet at the top of the head, forming a headband appearance.

    • 5

Use two small claw clips to secure the ends of the braids to the scalp, fastening them in a headband approximately 1 inch from the front of the hairline.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have very long hair, this style can be created by using a single, long braid as a hairstyle instead of two shorter braids. This style can also be created for short hair by purchasing a false braided headband in the color of your hair.
