How Do I Remove Lint From a Clothes Dryer?
Clothes dryers push dry, hot air into the dryer while sucking out damp air and trapping lint. By trapping lint, the dryer is more efficient and is safer, as excess lint in a drying machine is a potential fire hazard. While the clothes dryer lint trap will catch most lint, some lint will escape into the dryer vents and can lower the efficiency and safety of your machine. Clean the lint trap after every dryer cycle and clean the vents every few months or when you begin to notice that your clothes are not drying as quickly. Purchase a lint brush at a home improvement store. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Immediately repair or replace damaged lint traps to prevent lint from clogging your vents.
Avoid using dryer sheets as they can create a film on your dryer trap that prevents wet air from moving through it.
