How to Throw a Fun House Warming Party
A housewarming party allows your friends and family to explore your new home. This also gives you a chance to mingle and answer questions that people may have about the neighborhood. Guests will be able to feel like they are a part of your new life after you give them a tour. Send out the invitations once you have had time to settle into the new home. Along with the time and date, include directions for getting to the house. Inform guests if the party will be a casual affair or a formal party.

Clean the house and be sure that everything appears organized. When you throw a housewarming party, guests will be touring the house, so you want to give them a good impression.

Place a sign on your property to help guests find it. This will prevent you from being on the phone when people get confused about the location of your home. You could even set up signs two to three blocks away to help guests arrive safely.
