How Do I Remove Levolor Metal Blinds?
Levolor makes a wide range of window shades and blinds. Metal blinds from Levolor are one way to dress up your windows inexpensively. Changing out window dressing for a new look require removing the existing window dressings. Removing Levolor metal blinds is no different than removing most standard blinds. The blinds use brackets that box the ends into place. The front of the brackets come off so that you can simply pull the blinds away from the wall. Does this Spark an idea?

Raise the Levolor blind up using the pull rope on the right side of the blind. Unhook the tilt wand from the s-clip on the upper left side of the blind.

Locate the bottom seam of the face of each end bracket where bracket cap meets the bracket. The bracket cap is the cover that holds the ends of the blind in the brackets.

Pry the cap off each end bracket with a small flat-head screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver in between the bottom of the cap and the bracket to pry the cap away.

Grasp the end of the metal blinds with your hands and pull the blinds out of the brackets and away from the wall.

Remove the screws securing the end brackets to the window frame or wall with a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Tips & Warnings
Some blinds have decorative valances that snap on and off over the head rail.
Remove the bottom hold down brackets if your blind uses them.
