Instructions

    • 1

Sketch a design for the front of the card on a piece of paper. Alternatively, print out a picture on card stock and mount it to the card or use stamps. The basic design depends on the theme of the party.

    • 2

Fold a piece of colored card stock in two and trim it to the dimensions for the card you want. Decide how you will orient your card, whether it will open from the top or from the side.

    • 3

Print the information for the party on the inside of the card. This should include the location, time and date as well as an RSVP information and any other instructions. Alternately, print the information on card stock, cut it out and paste it inside the card.

    • 4

Decorate the front of the card to match the theme of the party. Use stickers, glitter, lace or cut-outs. Be creative but lay out the design completely before you begin gluing it.

    • 5

Allow the cards to dry completely before putting them in envelopes.
