How do I Clean a GE Glass Top Range?

GE glass stove-tops are easy to clean and maintain using a cleaner made specifically for glass-top stoves. Wipe down your stove-top on a daily basis to keep it looking new for years to come. It is recommended that you get a single-edged razor, available from GE, to scrape off the tougher, cooked on messes.

Things You'll Need

• Glass-top stove cleaner
• Cleaning pad
• Paper towels
• Single-edge razor scraper
• Clean cloth

Instructions

1. Shake the bottle of glass-top range cleaner and apply a few drops directly to the surface of the stove-top.

2. Use the cleaning pad to gently, but firmly scrub the entire surface of the glass stove-top. Using small circular motions will help to dislodge small bits and particles on the stove-top.

3. Wipe down the entire stove-top with a clean paper towel.

4. Use the single-edged razor scraper to get harder, cooked on messes. Hold the scraper at a 45-degree angle and scrape away the baked on bits.

5. Apply cleanser to the stove-top and wipe again with a paper towel to clean off any remaining particles.

6. Buff the surface of the stove-top with a soft, clean cloth.
