How to Remove Crayon From a Clothes Dryer
Crayon stains in your clothes dryer are a likely consequence of having young children in your home. A crayon stuffed in a small pocket of clothing can go unnoticed when transferring clothes from the washer to the dryer. However, the effects of this oversight are obvious. Dryer heat melts crayons and stains the walls of the dryer barrel. Moisten a cloth with WD'40 and wipe the stained area in the dryer drum. Continue to wipe the stained area until crayon is no longer visible.

Wash the dryer drum with liquid dish soap and water to remove the WD-40 residue. Wipe with paper towels to dry the dryer drum.

Put a load of dry cleaning rags in the dryer. Run one full drying cycle to ensure your dryer barrel is clean.

This technique will also work on lipstick stains in the dryer barrel.
