1
Clear out the space beneath the Price Pfister faucet you are removing. This includes removing any cleaning supplies, buckets, towels, storage bins or any other odds and ends to give yourself plenty of room to work.
-
2
Locate the water supply valves for the faucet. You should see two hoses snaking down from the faucet and terminating in two supply valves on the wall. Turn the round or oval knob at the end to shut off the water supply.

3
Turn on the faucet in the sink and allow any water inside to run out. Place a towel on the ground underneath the supply valves. Use the wrench to unscrew the supply hose coupling where it connects to the supply valve. Some water may drip out. This is normal.
-
4
Unscrew the plastic retaining nuts from the underside of the sink. These are located directly above where the supply hose connects to the faucet. Use the pliers if necessary.
-
5
Run a sharp knife around any caulk at the base of the faucet. Take care not to cut the countertop. Gently rock the faucet back and forth to loosen it from the countertop. Lift the faucet up about 2 inches--just enough to see the coupling at the bottom of the spray attachment (if present).
-
6
Unscrew the water supply hose from the base of the spray attachment. Pull the sprayer up and out of the faucet. The faucet can now be pulled out of the sink.

Tips & Warnings
You can put duct tape or some other heavy tape around the edge of the faucet when you are cutting the caulk to protect the countertop.
