How to Clean a Public Washroom
Washrooms, or bathrooms, that are located in public can receive quite a bit of traffic, leaving future guests to deal with a multitude of germs. Keeping these public washrooms clean is very important, and should be done on a regular basis. Does this Spark an idea?

Wipe the main walls, main door, stall doors and stall walls down with an industrial anti-bacterial cleaner, using a dense sponge. Ensure that you wipe around the handles of the doors especially well, as that is where many people will touch the doors.

Scrub the toilet with a strong toilet cleaner, making sure to swab the inside with a toilet brush. Wipe the tank and the bowl of the toilet as well. If there is a lid on the toilet, be sure to clean it as well. Also, lift the seat of the toilet to clean in between it and the bowl.

Clean the sink with a dense sponge with an industrial cleaner. Make sure to wipe the faucet and handles. Keep anti-bacterial hand wash near the sink to promote its use.

Spray the mirror with a heavy-duty glass cleaner. Remove the cleaner with a lint-free cloth, using long, firm strokes. Apply a layer of spot-resistant spray to the mirrors to help prevent future spotting.

Wipe tile counters with a tile cleaner and a wet sponge to help protect against mildew and keep the counters clean.

Mop the floor with an industrial floor cleaner, paying close attention to areas around the sinks and toilets.

Fill the toilet paper and paper towel holders, as well as the soap and air freshener dispensers. Keep a few extra rolls of toilet paper and packages of paper towels nearby in case they run out before the next cleaning.

Wear gloves when cleaning public washrooms, as the chemicals can be harmful to skin.
