How to Remove Coke From Carpet
Coke contains caramel coloring, which means it can stain fabrics, such as clothing, upholstery and carpeting. These stains show up most prominently if the soft drink is spilled on a white carpet. No matter what color your carpet, however, you need to get this up as soon as you can--when Coke dries, it becomes darker and sticky and will attract more dirt to that area of your carpet. Does this Spark an idea?

Blot the Coke with a dry paper towel, removing as much as you can. When you can't remove any more Coke from the carpet this way, pour club soda over the stain. Use just enough to cover it.

Blot the stain again with dry paper towels to pull the moisture off the carpet. Club soda works on most kinds of carpet stains, according to Carpet.org.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not have club soda immediately available, substitute cold water, followed by carpet shampoo or dishwashing detergent. It will take a bit longer using cold water instead of club soda, but will be effective at removing the Coke from the carpet.
