How to Reset a Westell Modem

Disconnect the power cord and the cord that connects the modem to the computer. Leave the cords unplugged for ten seconds.

Plug the cords back into the modem. Allow the modem to boot up.

Press and hold the reset button, located on the back of the modem, for 30 seconds, if the modem is still not working correctly or connecting to the Internet. Release the button and allow the modem to reboot.
