How to Reset Nextar HGPS35 GPS

A Nextar HGPS35 GPS is used to help guide the user to a specific location set by the user through a series of maps and verbal directions. Occasionally, static or other interference may cause the unit to freeze or function abnormally. If this happens, reset the unit to correct the problem. If the problems persist, do not use the unit until it has been examined by a qualified or authorized Nextar service center or technician.

Instructions

    • 1

      Unplug the power supply cord from the unit.

    • 2

      Unplug the power supply cord from the outlet. Reinsert the plug after five seconds.

    • 3

      Insert the power supply cord into the DV 5V input jack on the right hand side of the GPS unit.

    • 4

      Resume use of the Nextar HGPS35 GPS.
