How to Freeze Petite Mints
Petite mints are the buttery-tasting mints that melt in your mouth. These mints, which are usually made of some combination of confectioners' sugar, butter and flavoring, are commonly used at social events such as weddings, showers and parties. If you purchase petite mints or make your own, you may want to freeze them for future use. Fortunately, you can freeze this type of mint very easily. Does this Spark an idea?

Cover a cookie sheet with a sheet of wax paper.

Arrange the mints on top of the wax paper. Do not allow the mints to touch each other.

Cover the mints with another sheet of wax paper and then a sheet of tinfoil.

Place the cookie sheet in a freezer for several hours.

Transfer the mints to a plastic container and place back in the freezer. Be sure to seal the container with a tight-fitting lid.

Thaw the mints in the refrigerator for four to five hours before serving at room temperature.
