How to Send an MP3 File to My Sprint Phone
An MP3 file is a common audio format for music stored on computers and other devices. Most Sprint phones are capable of receiving MP3 files on their devices. An MP3 file can be sent through email and downloaded to the device within minutes. Depending on the size of the MP3 file, it can be used as a ringtone or ringback. There is no charge for sending an MP3 file to your Sprint phone.

Double-click the Internet icon on the computer's desktop, and access your online email account. Use the user name and password to log in. If you use an email client such as Thunderbird, double-click on its icon on the computer's desktop.

Create a new message by clicking Compose Mail" or "Compose."

Enter the Sprint mobile email address in the "To" field. The mobile address will be your Sprint number (at) messaging.sprintpcs.com. An example Sprint mobile email address is 1234567890@messaging.sprintpcs.com.

Enter a subject for the message.

Click "Attach File" or "Attach," and select the MP3 file to send to the phone. Click "Open" in the file selection window to add the MP3 file to the email.

Click "Send" to deliver the message to the Sprint phone.

Press the "Menu" key on the Sprint phone, and select "Messaging."

Locate the new message, highlight it and click it.

Review the MP3 file. Press "Menu," and click "Save" to save the media file to the Sprint phone.
