How to Donate Glasses to Charity
Many people living in poverty without adequate medical insurance need glasses they cannot afford. People with old glasses they no longer use can recycle these glasses to new eyes that can use them. Donate glasses to charity by finding a local place to which you can take your glasses. If you cannot find a local charity, mail your glasses to an organization that will pass them along to someone who needs them.

Visit the New Eyes website to learn how to donate your eyeglasses. If you live in the state of New Jersey, you may choose to take your old glasses to the New Eyes office. Alternatively, you can ship your glasses in a box or padded envelope. Include your contact information with your glasses if you want a receipt.
