How to Print an HP Configuration Page

Hewlett-Packard configuration pages detail how the printer's network card is set up, providing information such as the printer's IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. This information can then be used to set up or troubleshoot the printer. Configuration pages provide information and cannot be used in the same way as a test page. You might want to print an HP configuration page before connecting your printer to your home network. You should allow 5 minutes for this task.

Instructions

1. Press the "Setup" button on the front of the printer and select "Network" or "Network Setup" (depending on your model).

2. Select "Print Network Settings." You may have to select "View Network Settings" first on some models.

3. Press "OK." The configuration page will print.
