How to Make Your Own Note Pad & Print it Yourself
Making your own note pad takes less than an hour. You can create one from plain scratch paper, or design personalized note paper and print it yourself. Type up a list of groceries that you purchase most often and print out multiple copies. If you travel a lot, print out a list of items to remember to pack. Create small pads of paper with a logo or monogram, and give them as gifts to family or friends. You can even print out crossword puzzles or word searches to make note pads to keep children entertained on long car trips.

1
Type or design what you want to include on your note pad. Keep in mind that you can divide your paper into segments to make note pads smaller than 8 1/2 by 11 inches.
-
2
Print out multiple copies of the note pad design. Use black or color ink and the paper color of your choice.
-
-
3
Cut the paper to size if you are making a smaller note pad.
-
4
Line the paper up along the edge you are going to stick together. All of the sides should be lined up straight.
-
5
Place one ruler on the top and another on the bottom of the stack of paper. Align the rulers along the straight edge of the paper.
-
6
Put binder clips over the two rulers so that the rulers clamp the paper tight.
-
7
Spread the adhesive along the straight edge of paper with the paintbrush or foam brush.
-
8
Allow the adhesive to dry for roughly 10 minutes before applying a second coat. Apply two or three coats in total.
-
9
Remove the clamps and rulers when the adhesive is completely dry. Your note pad is finished.

Tips & Warnings
Purchase adhesive or padding compound at craft stores or online. A 2-ounce bottle will make roughly 24 note pads.
Do not be stingy with the adhesive compound. Spread it liberally on the edge of the paper. If you put on too little, it will not stick very well or very long.
