Instructions

    • 1

Rinse the siding off with a garden hose and a spray nozzle. Set the garden hose to medium pressure to avoid puncturing the siding. Spray the water on the siding so that it slides down instead of sticking between areas of the siding.

    • 2

Fill a pump reservoir 2/3 of the way full with warm water. Add 10 to 15 drops of enzyme-based liquid dish soap and swirl the reservoir slightly to mix the soap into the water.

    • 3

Soak the areas on the siding that contain the egg with this soap mixture. Allow the mixture to sit on the siding for 5 minutes, then reapply.

    • 4

Scrub areas that you can reach with a long-bristled brush. Apply a gentle amount of pressure to scrub away the yellow egg yolk.

    • 5

Continue to apply the soap mixture to the siding to soften the egg and remove it. If stains still exist, combine an equal amount of vinegar and water to the water reservoir. Spray the vinegar solution onto the house and allow it to sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

    • 6

Rinse the house with clean water. If you can reach any egg-stained areas that remain on the home, place a towel soaked in the vinegar and water solution on the area for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep it in place with a wooden board or ladder. Rinse the house siding with clean water.
