The Proxima DP6850 projector is compatible with IBM PC or compatible computers and Macintosh systems. The projector lamp uses a 190-watt bulb designed to operate for 1,500 hours when set to 50% brightness. The lamp can be automatically turned off after a set period of time by using the timer.       Turn on the Proxima 6850. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control.

      Press the right or left arrow on the remote control until "OPT" is selected. Press the "Menu" button to open the "Options" menu.

      Press the down arrow until "Timer" is selected. Press the "Menu" button to open the timer settings screen.

      Press the Up arrow to increase the timer counter. Press the Down arrow to decrease the timer counter. The timer can be set to a maximum of 99 minutes. Set the timer to zero to disable the timer.

      Press "Menu" to save the timer settings.
