1
Determine where the snagged loop is and where the yarn comes out to form the next loop.
-
2
Place your knitting needle through the snagged loop of carpet to prevent it from pulling through the carpet backing.
-
-
3
Leave the original snagged loop a bit bigger than the other loops. The newly pulled loop should be slightly smaller than the original snagged loop.
-
4
Pull the next loop in the carpet using your other knitting needle so the snagged loop is pulled back down.
-
5
Continue weaving the yarn through the backing, making each new loop smaller than the previous one. The snag will eventually work itself back into the fabric of the carpet.
-
6
Apply a drop of glue at the base of the repaired carpet to hold the fiber in place.
