Place a few drops of lemon grass oil into a light bulb ring or diffuser to lift the mood and freshen a room's scent. A light bulb ring or diffuser sits on a light bulb in a lamp and heats the oil to diffuse the scent into the room.

Mix three or four drops of lemon grass oil with a quarter cup of almond or jojoba oil. This makes a soothing massage oil.

Add two or three drops of lemon grass oil into skin care products such as moisturizer or soaps to help treat oily skin prone to acne.
