How to Send Ringtones Via Picture Message
A variety of ways exist for you to put ringtones on your cell phone, but some cell phone companies like Verizon Wireless won't allow you to send ringtones to your cell phone in a regular text message, which is the most common way of putting ringtones on a cell phone. This doesn't mean that you have to purchase ringtones from their ringtone download service, though, because there is still a way to bypass this restriction. Even though you can't send them in regular text messages, you can send ringtones via picture text message.
