How to Turn Off Backups in Norton 360 thumbnail
You can turn off backups to save hard drive space.

Norton 360 protects your computer from virus and spyware and also creates backups of your hard drive. This enables you to restore your hard drive if a virus infects your computer. However, Norton's automatic backups can use more hard drive space than you wish. You can turn off backups to save hard drive space or to manually choose the folders you wish to back up.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Norton 360 and click on "Settings" at the top of the main window.

    • 2

    • 3

Click "Close" to save your settings.
