How to Repair an Oversized PST
PST, also known as a personal storage folder (.pst), holds all the data linked with your Exchange-based email account. An oversized PST will generate errors once it goes over its 2-gigabyte space limitation, and the "Inbox Repair Tool" will not be able to troubleshoot this issue. However, Microsoft offers a PST crop tool that can decompress and repair an oversized PST. With this tool, you can truncate your .pst file.
