How to Setup EXE for Windows
A "Setup.exe" file is a file used to install software onto your computer that uses the Windows operating system. The "exe" in the file name stands for "executable." This one file contains all of the information that you need to automatically install the piece of software that it is associated with on your machine. To get this process started and get your new program set up on your machine, you just need to run the executable file.

Locate the "Setup.exe" file that you'll be using. If your file is contained on a CD, open the CD by clicking "Start>Computer" and then on the icon for the CD. If you've downloaded the "Setup.exe" file from the Internet, go to the directory where it is stored on your hard drive.

Double-click the "Setup.exe" file to launch the installer.

Click "Next" and continue to advance through the utility. All "Setup.exe" files operate a little differently, with some that are entirely automated and some that ask you to specify exactly where and how you would like an associated program installed on your computer. Provide the utility with any information it asks and when it becomes available, click "Finish." This will install the program in which the "Setup.exe" file is associated.
