1
Prepare your face by applying a foundation of choice. Foundation provides an even facial tone as well as a smooth base for your makeup. Apply concealer to areas such as under the eye, around the nose, or over any obvious pimples.
-
2
Using an eyeshadow brush, apply a light gray shimmer over both eyelids, starting at the lash line and venturing up to the crease of the eye.
-
-
3
Draw a fairly thick line of black kohl eyeliner along the upper and lower lash lines. Extend and flick out your eyeliner at the end of either eye to elongate the feature. Using your pinky finger, gently smudge the eyeliner. Don't worry if it doesn't look perfect; rock star makeup is intended to look slightly messy.
-
4
Set your kohl eyeliner by going over it gently with black eyeshadow on an eyeshadow brush.
-
5
Mascara lengthens and defines lashes. Complete the eye area by applying a generous amount of black mascara to both the top and bottom eyelashes.
-
6
Using a blusher brush, apply a light pink blush along the cheekbones. Only use a small amount, since you are not looking to highlight this area too much.
-
7
Red lipstick can be applied with a brush. Apply red lipstick as to achieve a bold rock star pout. Use a lip brush to apply the lipstick with precision.
-
8
Complete your rock-star makeup by applying a coat of black varnish to your nails.

Tips & Warnings
To make your rock-star makeup even more dramatic, apply some glitter to the eyelids.
If you wish to accentuate just the eyes, replace the red lipstick with a neutral pink lipstick or a clear gloss.
Rock-star makeup is very dramatic and should be kept to special occasions.
