How to Enable the Bluetooth MSI Wind

The Wind Hybrid is a netbook created and sold by MSI. Netbooks are a computer form factor that exist between smartphones and laptops. Netbook computers offer many of the functions of a laptop such as a full-sized keyboard, wireless Internet and a laptop hard drive. Bluetooth technology allows devices such as laptops and cell phones to communicate without wires. Some MSI Wind netbooks include Bluetooth functionality. The Bluetooth features on an MSI Wind netbook are activated by pressing a button combination.

Instructions

1. Open the netbook. Power on the netbook and allow it to load into Windows.

2. Press and hold the "Fn" button. Press the "F11" button.

3. Check the Bluetooth LED indicator to make sure it is glowing blue. The LED is located below the keyboard and is labeled with a symbol that resembles a "B." If the LED is not on, press "Fn" and "F11" again.

Tips & Warnings

• Bluetooth functions drain battery life. Turn off Bluetooth when it is not needed to increase battery time.
