Fruity Loops is the former name of the FL Studio music production software. This application enables users to record audio tracks and mix music tracks. Fruity Loops recognizes a wide range of audio formats, such as .wav, .mp3 and .ogg. Importing wav files doesn’t require many steps. Once you import your wav file into Fruity Loops, you can mix, master and edit it to your preference.

Instructions

      Open the version of Fruity Loops or FL studio on your system.

      Click the “minimize” button toward the upper-right corner of the program to resize the application.

      Press “F9” to launch the “Mixer.” Click “Insert 1”

      Look under the “In” section of the Mixer, and click the drop-down arrow in the first column.

      Click “Select” and click “Edison.”

    • 6

      Press the “Windows key + F” to open Windows Explorer. Locate the wav file you wish to import.

      Click and drag the wav file to “Edison.” Edit the file using the shortcut features.
