Translate a page to French and other languages with Babel Fish.

As the Internet becomes more diverse and widely available, people of different languages may want to read the content of your Web page. You can translate the entire textual content of your site with the click of a button if you install a simple plug-in called Babel Fish from Yahoo! This translation method is a machine translation, so it will not produce a polished translation but may allow visitors to grasp the general content of Web pages.

• Text or HTML editor

Instructions

1. Acquire the HTML code snippet from the Babel Fish website at Yahoo.com. Under the "Translate your page" section, select "I want this one!" Copy the code that appears in the pop-up dialog.

2. Open your preferred text or HTML editor. (Text editors such as Notepad or TextEdit will work well for this task.)

3. Open the page you wish to be available for translation in the text or HTML editor. Paste the code you acquired from the Babel Fish website into the HTML document in the place you want the Babel Fish application to appear.

4. Upload your Web page to your server at your hosting provider. Test the translation by going to your website and choosing one of the language translation options from the Babel Fish application.
