How to Mount a GPS on a Windshieldthumbnail
Mounting GPS to a windshield is as easy as dashboard mounting.

A Global Positioning System (GPS) is a device you can install in your vehicle to provide navigational assistance while driving. The most important function of GPS will help your find the best route to get from one point to the next, by mapping your route with turn-by-turn instructions, offered on screen and with some models, by voice. You can install a GPS on your dash or the windshield, depending on preference or as dictated by law. Some states still outlaw the mounting of GPS devices on the windshield. For motorists who prefer a windshield installation, the procedure is simple.
