How to Keep His Attention Off Other Women

Keep his attention on you.

It's a fact, according to TheSinglesCafe.net, that most relationships fail because things get boring and couples lose that spark of enthusiasm. So if you're worried you may lose your man, there are small things you can do to keep him close to you and divert his attention from those other women. Don't let the same thing destroy your relationship that has destroyed so many other relationships.

   Don't make him feel totally responsible for your happiness.

   Give enough, but not too much. "Women know they have the capacity to nurture and care for men, and will be extremely giving. The problem is when a woman holds it against her partner--as if she's a martyr--and the guy suddenly feels very guilty and, even worse, obligated. A man likes a b**** because she has her own agenda that isn't all about him; he likes that he's not totally responsible for her happiness," says couples counselor Randi Gunther in Cosmopolitan magazine. You don't want to push him away by creating too much tension in the relationship. He should love to be around you, not dread it!

2. 

   Communication is important.

   Communicate, but don't bore him to death. Sure, he likes to hear how your day at work was and what you learned, but don't email him while he's at work and send him messages while he's playing games online. Alone time is just as important as time together. Also, when you're upset at him, let him know. If you hold things in, it will only hinder the relationship. It's important to be honest, even if the truth hurts.

3. 

   Life is too short for fighting.

   Choose your battles wisely. Just as it's important to be honest when you're upset, it's also important to move on. If something is done and over with, leave it in the past. Bringing the issue up later is just going to cause problems. It's not worth losing the man of your dreams over little arguments.

4. 

   Give him reasons to think of you often.

   Keep him thinking of you. There are many fun ways to do this. You can give him a photo of you for his desk at work for starters. "Looking at it will boost his mood, and his loyalty," William July, Ph.D., author of "Confessions of an Ex Bachelor" told Cosmopolitan magazine.

5. Go with your gut. You know your man better than anyone else. Do those things that drive him crazy, and keep him wanting you and only you.
