2. Choose the date and the cruise you wish to sail on.

3. Book the cruise directly with Holland America or with a travel agent.

4. Find a flight that complements the cruise schedule if air is not included with your booking. The latest the flight should land is the morning of embarkation as it may take several hours to get to the port. In addition to the time it takes to go through customs, it is about a one-hour drive to the port from Fiumicino, Rome international airport..

5. Get a passport for all persons traveling with you.
