Bosch is a manufacturer of home appliances, offering a line of ovens, cook tops, washing machines, clothes dryers and dishwashers. The company produces dozens of dishwasher models, touting their high quality, ease of use and quiet operation. Some models feature a hidden control panel and Energy Star certification. Knowing your Bosch dishwasher's production date helps you determine if your model is part of a recall, assists you in purchasing the correct replacement parts and can aid a repair technician servicing your unit.
Things You'll Need
- Pen or pencil
Open your Bosch dishwasher's door. Look on the right side of the door's edge for a white label.
Write down the model number and serial number. The model number is located on the left side of the label. The serial number starts with "FD" and is located directly below the model number.
Dial the Bosch customer service phone number at 1-800-944-2904. Read the model number and serial number of your dishwasher to the customer service associate. She will be able to tell you the production date of your dishwasher. Write the date down for future reference.
Visit the Appliance 411 website (see Resources). Select "Bosch" from the "Brand" drop-down menu and choose "Dishwasher" from the "Appliance Type" menu. Type in your serial number and model number in the appropriate text boxes. Press "Get Date" to see your Bosch dishwasher's production date.
