1
Design princess-themed invitations. Choose an invitation that features princess items, such as a tiara, wand or glass slipper like Cinderella. Use princess-themed wording on the invitation as well, such as "Come to Emma's Castle for her Princess Birthday Party!" If you want guests to wear princess outfits, include that request at the bottom of the invitation, such as "Come dressed in your fanciest princess attire."

2
Plan princess-themed activities for the party. Let your little princesses decorate their own magic wands. Cut stars out of yellow card stock, and attach them to 6-inch dowel rods. Collect glitter, sequins, feathers, ribbons and plenty of glue, and guests can decorate their wands at the party.

Decorate your home. Pink is a classic princess color, so choose a pink color scheme for your birthday party. Drape tables in pink tablecloths, and use pink paper plates and cups. Make place cards at the table for each guest, and precede their name with "Princess." Stack pillows on the birthday girl's chair, and attach streamers to the back of the chair so that she has a throne to enjoy.

4
Design a princess birthday cake. Create a three-tiered cake that is good enough for royalty. Use white or pink frosting for each tier---or alternate between the two colors---and top the cake with a tiara fit for a princess. Add candles around the second tier of the cake, one for every year.

5
Craft princess-themed favors. Take a picture of each guest in her princess attire, and print it out on your home photo printer to give as a favor. This picture will serve as a lasting memory of the princess birthday party.
-
6
Design a menu. Your princesses will be busy running around and enjoying activities, so keep your food light. Finger foods work best for little princesses on the go. Offer finger sandwiches cut in the shape of stars with a cookie cutter. Dress up pizza bites and pigs in a blanket by serving them on silver platters.
