How to Clean Cookies in a PS3

The Playstation 3 (PS3) comes with its own Flash-compatible web browser. Similar to your computer's web browser, the PS3 web browser saves Internet history and cookies. Cookies are small, text-based files that contain information unique to that website. Depending on the website, cookies are either permanent or temporary. You can delete PS3 cookies (and other browser-related settings) directly from the PS3 web browser.

  Start the PS3. From the PS3 main menu (the XMB bar), select "Network." Select "Internet Browser."

  Press the "Triangle" button. The Options menu will open. Select "Tools."

  Select "Delete Cookies." Select "Yes" when asked to confirm.
