How To Receive an Online High School Diploma Within 3 Months

You can get a high school diploma at any age.

Anyone can enroll in online high school, and graduate with a high school diploma upon finishing the coursework and passing the exams. The vast majority of online high school students get their diploma within one year and some within just a few weeks or months. However, it is important to note that this high school diploma is not a GED. A GED is only attainable after paying a state-determined fee to a certified GED counselor/administrator and passing the two- to three-hour GED exam in person. Furthermore, while reputable online high schools do offer complete high school curricula, which have received certification from various academic accreditation organizations, it is important to make sure the employer or college to which you are applying does accept this accreditation.

Instructions

1. Register at an online high school. Given that the academic coursework is very similar at most online high schools, make sure to choose a properly accredited program and that the school or employer to which you are applying will accept that diploma.

2. Study the high school coursework and pass the exams. This is the hard part. You do actually have to study the material and pass the exams. However, all reputable online high school programs have tutoring sessions and practice exams, and you are allowed to retake the exams if you do not pass the first time. Most online high schools offer "fast track" programs where you can complete the coursework and receive your diploma in as little as two weeks to two months.

3. Order your high school diploma. Remember that while this diploma is not a GED, it does demonstrate to employers and others that you have passed a rigorous high school academic curriculum, and it is usually accredited. Furthermore, if it turns out the job or academic institution to which you are applying requires a GED, at least you are now fully prepared to pass that GED exam.
