DIY Sun Tan Lotion

Things You'll Need

• 1/2 cup coconut oil
• 1 oz. sesame oil
• 2 cups rose geranium water
• 2 tbsp. borax
• 1 tsp. pumpkin butter
• 20 drops essential oil of peppermint
• Glass bowl
• Hand mixer
• Large jar with lid

Instructions

1. Add coconut oil, sesame oil, rose geranium water, borax and pumpkin butter to a glass bowl.

2. Microwave the bowl on high for 4 minutes.

3. Stir ingredients with hand mixer slowly.

4. Add peppermint essential oil to the mixture. Mix for an additional five minutes. The result is a thin, but creamy coconut suntan lotion.

Tips & Warnings

• Apply liberally wherever you are exposed to the sun. Reapply every few hours or as needed.
