How to Watch Flash on Itouch

iTouch does not support flash video and audio, but the iTransmogrify bookmarklet converts the files for you.

The iTouch and iPhone allow you to watch videos and browse the Internet, but because of the Safari software, neither device supports flash media. Videos found on YouTube and other flash-supported sites can still be accessed and viewed on the iTouch, but you need to add a bookmarklet called iTransmogrify designed to transform flash media for viewing on the Safari web browser. iTransmogrify is a free bookmarklet that recognizes and converts media such as MP3 and video formats for viewing on your iTouch.

Instructions

1. Open your Safari browser and visit the iTransmogrify creator's website (see Resources).

2. Drag the link to your bookmarks folder if using Safari, or right-click and save to your bookmarks if using Internet Explorer.

3. Plug your iTouch into the USB port of your computer and "Sync" your device.

4. Visit a website containing an embedded flash video or audio segment. Click on the iTransmogrify bookmarklet and wait for it to translate the data for viewing on your iTouch.
