How to Link Ventrilo With WoW
Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft is a massively multiplayer online RPG, or MMORPG, that places players in the fantasy world of Azeroth. There, players complete quests, engage in fearsome battles and explore dungeons. In truly hectic situations, sometimes a player can't type fast enough to tell the party healer that he needs help or that trouble is coming. That's where using Ventrilo helps. Ventrilo is a free voice chat client that allows groups to communicate on chat servers with one another. Many Guilds on World of Warcraft use them to coordinate during instance dungeons and battleground raids. While the programs aren't directly linked, using Ventrilo with World of Warcraft is remarkably easy.

Tips & Warnings
While Ventrilo is often used for World of Warcraft, the two are not mutually exclusive programs. Ventrilo can be used to voice chat with anyone on a server, no matter what programs or games they are running.
While not a requirement to play, it is recommended that you have all the expansion packs for World of Warcraft, so that you can experience everything the game has to offer with your friends.
Guilds, groups of players who organize into a small "clan" often employ Ventrilo for their day-to-day operations, including chatting amongst officers, announcements and other features.
Using Ventrilo means that the other users can hear your voice. Be sure not to reveal any personal information during your chats.
