How to Block Wireless Caller ID

Your wireless number may still be displayed when you call an 800 or 900 number.

Wireless phone subscribers who want to keep their caller information private can block their call on a per-call basis. Calls made to phones that are equipped with caller ID displays a caller's name and phone number. Although a wireless caller's name may not appear on caller ID, the phone number does. Use the caller ID block code to keep this information private.

Instructions

    • 1

Access the dial pad for the wireless phone.

    • 2

Dial "*67" on the dial pad, then enter the number you are calling.

    • 3

Press the green phone key, then wait for the caller to answer the phone.

Tips & Warnings

  • The "*67" code must be dialed before each call that you want to block your caller ID information.
