How to Mount & Open Files With Magic ISO

How to Mount & Open Files With Magic ISO thumbnail
MagicISO eliminates the need for DVDs to play ISO files.

Ordinarily, you need a CD or DVD to play an ISO file, an image file that contains the entire contents of the disk. Windows extracts the data from the ISO file and plays back the contents, such as a movie. If you have the ISO file, but you do not have it on CD or DVD, you can still open it on your computer after you mount it in MagicISO.

Instructions

    • 1

Right click on the MagicISO icon in your taskbar. In the menu that pops up, select "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM," then select a driver in the menu that appears.

    • 2

Click "Mount." Another menu will appear. Browse through your folders in that menu to find and select the ISO file you want to mount and open. Click "OK." MagicISO will mount the ISO.

    • 3

Click "Open" in the MagicISO "File" menu. Browse to the newly mounted ISO drive letter that you chose in Step 1. Select that drive, then click "Open."
