How to Add Audio to Video With Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro is video editing and capture software sold by Adobe. The software allows users to import digital and analog footage and manipulate it on a time-line. Users can also add effects, titles and overlays to create Hollywood-style productions. One of the many things that you can do within Premiere is adding audio to video files. The process is fairly simple, and by using the powerful editing capabilities in Premiere you can manipulate the audio file to suit your needs.

Start up your Premiere Pro editing software.

Select "New Project" from the dialogue box that pops up. Name your new project and save it to your hard drive.

From the "File" menu in the upper left-hand corner, select "Import." When the dialogue box opens, select the video file where you want to add the audio.

Drag the video clip from the footage bin into the time-line at the bottom of the screen. Place the video clip on an available video track on the top half of the time-line.

Select "Import" from the "File" menu. When the dialogue box opens, select the audio file that you want to add to the video.

Drag the audio file from the footage bin into the time-line. Place it on an available audio track located underneath the video track.

Preview your project by pressing the "Enter" key. Adjust the audio as needed so that the timing matches your needs by dragging the audio clip with your mouse. Export the integrated audio and video file by selecting "Export" from the "File" menu in Premiere.
